Guiding Light

The Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association’s Eastern Province Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday May 7, 2016
at Shanmuga Hindu Ladies College, Trincomalee.  Ms. Jecintha Arulanantham Deputy Director of Education, Provincial Education Department Eastern Province graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

In her address she stressed the importance of girls joining the  Girl Guides Association. Professor Anoja Fernando President, Ms. Harshini Perera Director Communications and Ms. Dimanthi Gunawardena National Secretary were present on behalf of the SLGGA. There were more than 100 Girl Guide leaders and Girl Guides present from the Eastern Province.
